I know. I know. I haven’t posted in an unacceptably long amount of time. I have had a few – now solved – technical issues with my computer. I pretty much missed the whole of fashion week in terms of coverage! (Grrr) I would like to, however, take this opportunity to thank everyone that has continued to visit. I assure you, I will be posting much more frequently! Scout’s honour!
Anywho gurl. Enough about me. This is a fashion blog, not an autobiography.
The above heel was featured in the Dolce and Gabanna Fall 2012 show at Milan Fashion Week. Undoubtedly my favourite heel from the collection.
Okay. I’ll admit it. I am obsessed with men’s clutch bags. I recently bought a large Balenciaga Clip in Anthracite, and admittedly, it is probably one of my better fashion investments. Despite having only just bought the Clip in Anthracite, I intend to buy another in Azur, perhaps in Biche.
Upon seeing the Saffiano Calf Leather Men’s Bag in Baby Blue at the newly opened Prada store of Westfield, Stratford City (London), I just knew that it would be mine – eventually.
Mark my queer words: I will have a Prada clutch by the beginning of Summer. Unfortunately, it probably won’t be the sequinned briefcase as I don’t think my bank balance will be best pleased with my forking out £1,100 on a single clutch bag. Especially, seeing as my Balenciaga Clip cost me a mere (in comparison) £325.
Anywho.

Above:Lana Del Rey in a pastel yellow Louis Vuitton SS12.
Lana Del Rey has been announced as the newest UK Vogue cover model. WERK IT! I personally love Lana’s style. The likely lovechild of a menage-a-trois between Elvis Presley, Dolly Parton and Jeff Buckley. The March cover was shot by the infamous fashion photographer, Mario Testino. Lana, you lucky girl.
Ms. Del Rey’s voice and personal style has certainly made an impression. On me, at least.
Above: Official Music Video for Del Rey’s ‘Born To Die’.FETCH!
Lana’s debut album ‘Born To Die’ is now available on iTunes. I can personally vouch for the songs ‘Video Games’, ‘Dark Paradise’, ‘Radio’ and… Actually. Scratch that. Just nab the album! PURRR CHASE!
David Beckham has become the latest design collaborator for Hennes and Mauritz in releasing a nine-piece range of ‘David Beckham Bodywear’ undergarments.
This collaboration has no doubt been spurred on by David’s inclusion in the Emporio Armani Fall 2009/10 ad. God, it feels weird typing out the number ’2009′. Becks was featured on several billboards in several major cities. You literally could not have missed it.
Becks’ David Beckham Bodywear for H&M commercial is below:
*Update* Highlights of the line’s launch party. Features Tali Lennox, Suzy Menkes Emma Bunton and Dermot O’Leary. See below:
This is going to sound really egotistic and slightly narcissistic even, so apologies in advance! I am not sure how I feel (as a man) about having David Beckham’s name so close to my pay-nis? Also the decision to position David as the spokesmodel was probably an easy decision, however I am not sure it was the right one. Just sayinnn.
Personally, I am not convinced honey.
The bodywear line will be available in-stores worldwide on 2 February.

Mr. L’s new collection can be described as metallic and monochromic – very minimalistic. Given that it is Karl’s own collection, I did expect the ‘biker’ look, and it seems to be moderately well-recieved. There are several items already sold-out on NET-A-PORTER. My advice is: purrrr-chase the items you desire while you still can. Zoom zoom girls. Some of my favourite items are below:
It is available exclusively online at NET-A-PORTER. If you subscribe to NET-A-PORTER’s YouTube Channel, then you will have seen the ‘Karl-Mania’ in the run-up to the launch of the collection. The collection was launched in five different cities. Unfortunately, due to my being drugged-up on co-codomol, I couldn’t make it to the London launch.

“The New Mix”. Karl collaborates with fashion photographer and director Barnaby Roper to create a video featuring KL’s new collection. Models on spinning turntables? WERK IT GURL. The intense (and yes, intentionally choppy) result of their collaboration, is below:
Extra: Mr. Lagerfeld is interviewed. Lacking the minor detail of a host, of course. Staged almost as though it were within the mind of Karl himself, his insightful, autonomous discussion for NET-A-PORTER is definitely worth a watch.
(Oh! Almost forgot. Welcome Karl on Twitter @KarlLagerfeld )
I was OBLIGED to share this as soon as I saw it. Does anyone else feel like this collection was made especially for me them? I loved the gorgeous metallic insets on the gowns, and the gladiator stilettos. The cut-out leather jacket was stunning. I’d say that this collection is absolutely spot-on. The pieces will have no issue making their way onto the Red Carpet.
What a gorgeous range of bags from Chanel. My personal favourite is, of course, the monochrome boy bag. I wish it would just drop on my doorstep. I don’t think I’d ever take it off. There are a few other Cruise 2011/12 bags that I haven’t included, but those may be seen on the Chanel website.

I also thought the videos below may be of interest. Je les adore! FETCH
My favourite look of the show would have to be at 3 minutes 40 seconds. Gorgeous double-breasted, patterned coat with fur lapels. The red gun shirt is so FETCH. As are the round yellow-framed glasses. For me, the look is reminiscent of a Bond villain.
Well Daniel Craig. Unless you’re wearing Prada F/W 12/13, I really couldn’t give a ____. I’m taking my especially well-dressed crime-boss home. He His ensemble touches my soul in places your striped sky blue/navy sea trunks never could.
Whether or not I approve of A-list vedettes such as Adrien Brody, Gary Oldman and Willem Defoe on the runway? No comment.
